Grandma Got Runover By a Reindeer. I have a completely irrational hate for that song. Just hideous.

    It's Bennie, boys!

But I can understand the distaste for it - unique in Elton's catalogue. Big hit on the black charts (or whatever they were calling it back then - R&B?).

Not a standard rock or pop song. I'm not love with it - especially since it's surrounded by one of the greatest albums of all time.

I don't think anyone was anticipating it to be as big as it was... it was so plodding in the beginning, they had to add Jimi Hendrix audience noise to the track! I think it was from Jimi... but it wasn't applause from an Elton concert.

This was my introduction to Adele.

"RUMOR HAS IT" (a-melodic - just go down a notch when "HAS IT" is repeated). RUMOR HAS IT. RUMOR HAS IT.

I "sing" that to the wife and it drives her nuts. Rumor Has it. Rumor Has It.

This might be the most irritating repeated segment I've heard in popular music. I've since looked deeper into Adele, find "Hello" to be a good predictable song as was her Bond theme. Nailed the Bond theme with the help of some very talented people... but I don't get "Rumor Has It" and "Hello" doesn't move me the way it moves so many others obviously. It's fine.

If "Temporary Secretary" were my first introduction to McCartney, I'd be baffled as why anyone could STAND this guy, too!

they're trying to serve Beyonce, but they either look awkward, underage or both. So cringe. Normani should go solo.

While being a Beatles and ex-Beatle fan since the sixties (yes I am that old) I have always incredibly disliked (and still do dislike) the song, Yellow Submarine. From the beginning to the end, just frking horrible. All the other songs are fine. If I would marry the Beatles, it would be for better plus best and the worse worst song, too.

Ducks On The Wall - The Kinks. I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to invite Howard The Duck to the session for this song, but it was a huge mistake. It was an average song at best before all those duck sounds were added. Even the duck on the song knows it, at the end it sounds like the duck is quacking and gagging at the same time.

I brought that single in for a fifth grade music class. Teacher was horrified and made me take it off. She liked Rocket Man though.
