Thanks for sharing, and I appreciate the high-res pics!

Are you willing to elaborate some on the sound of the Elac Adante series?

Yes it was Bill Peugh along with Dave Wilson -- Bill has been in the business for 40 years and came from Transparent and Fine Sounds Group prior to that. He is one awesome guy & known as the speaker whisperer. Definitely glad to see he is with Wilson Audio now.

Had flights/rental car for this years RMAF but had to cancel at last moment for family matters -- there will be 2018 for sure.

Best Sir & appreciate the link & article.

    Bob

I will have an article up on PTA soon regarding a recent ELAC event but suffice to say, I am a huge fan of the Adantes, both the tower and stand-mount.

Sorry we missed you Bob. Bill recently hosted me for a Wilson factory tour that was mind-blowing. I am writing that up this week. Bill and Peter McGrath are two of the finest and most experienced people in audio. The Wilsons have assembled a superb team.

it looks like the Pro-Ject DAC Box is stereo only, correct? The one in your picture was black and the one in the link is grey so I can't tell if its the same thing in two different colors or not... but that is what it seems like to me.

Look, there is a (Synergistic Research) grounding block there! Strange though, as this product category does not exist in this forum.

I'm still slightly amazed that Peter Madnick is a real person and not just clip art used by the Audio Adviser catalog.

They come in two colors, black and silver. Pretty sure these are stereo only.

I am reviewing the passive version now, the active will arrive soon. Rafe Arnott also is working on a review of the Troy ground block. Nordost also makes one. It is simply a way to lower the noise floor further than what even a great line conditioner will do.
