Whatever those Target exclusive Beatles 45s/T-shirt combos sold for. Couldn't even find the shirts in my size.

Around 30 € for an original Dutch "See Emily Play" by Pink Floyd. If I remember correctly. Quite possible I payed a bit more for a Colombian 4-track EP with songs from A Momentary Lapse of Reason.

$125 for a box of 300 45rpm singles...all pre-1975...without checking them out first. I managed to find about 80 worth keeping.
If they are stuffed into a box, 10 cents apiece is a fair bulk price.
If they are minty and well-taken care of...that's another story.

Wow!! That is awesome! How different is the mix of 'Mary Jane' as compared with what's out there on boot?

It's a tie between Elvis' "Baby, Let's Play House" on the Sun label and "Tongue Tied Jill" by Charlie Feathers on the Meteor label. Each one ran about $150.

When I was actively collecting 45s I used to have a limit of about $30 - somehow couldn't quite bear to spend more than that. I haven't been buying them for some time but this thread has made me realise that I miss it!

I think $15 or $20 for Happy Xmas War Is Over - John and Yoko
    Picture sleeve/green vinyl.

Also $15 or $20 for Instant Karma - John Lennon
    Picture sleeve

These were purchased back in the 70s.

The most I spent for a 45 is for one I no longer have. I paid $300- for this a few years ago and wound up selling it a few months later for $335- because I thought it sounded a bit muffled (even though the vinyl was NM):

This one I still have. I paid just over $200 for this sleeve (which completed my Beatles U.S. Capitol picture sleeve collection)

Only $40- (and in trade at that), but this one is rather tough to find - the Holland 7" for Murder Incorporated by Bruce Springsteen:

Finally, I paid $35- for a NM promo of Spirit In The Night by Springsteen. I hope to add its sister, Blinded By The Light (along with the picture sleeve) someday. Actually, I'd really hope to add stock pressings of both 45s someday, but as that will require a lottery win on my part, I'll have to make do with the promos:

BTW, in case anyone is wondering what the mono version sounds like, I made a video of it:

I think $25 for the first X-Ray Spex single "oh bondage,up yours" aussie first pressing with pic sleeve, sold it last year for $50 when unemployed

I don't count boxsets or double or triple 7" but out of what I have currently i've paid around $15 for Mazzy star, Calm, Hoover, Rites Of Spring, Minutemen, Avengers, etc.

Yesterday I scored Emmy Lou Harris "Paddy/Fugue For The Ox" promo copy for $7, and the uk 1990 ep Byrds "Four Dimensions" also $7, and the sundazed Sean Bonniwell/Music Machine single "Point Of No Return/King Mixer" for $4 it was a good day in 7" collecting

We have the same local record supplier. They don't specialize in 45s but I've found a few good ones there, including a copy of "18th Floor Girl" by the Runaways on Alamo Audio.

Quite honestly, I don't remember. I've had this for a long time and I only played it once at the time and never again. And at the time I certainly didn't have the equipment to do any serious comparing...

    Thanks!
You're lucky, that's a score there. (I first was caught off-guard because I was thinking of the stock of this, but that's a total fortune, if you actually find one). When I collected vinyl I wanted a copy of Blinded By The Light with picture sleeve too.
