Yes I picked up the new reissue. The pressing quality on my copy was very good, flat, no marks and centered. I thought the sound quality was very good too but I only have the cd for comparison.
The latest edition of Lou Reed's The Blue Mask. Surface noise in the form of loud clicking erupts on the next to last track. I don't have the vinegar to trade it for one that might be the same or worse. I'll settle for some great music sounding pretty great. That's modern vinyl.
Remembered I had some Barnes and Noble gift card balance so I picked up The White Album in mono, Van Halen’s debut album, Van Morrison Moondance, and a replacement copy of Back in Black. My first time owning all except Back in Black on Vinyl.

I finally gave in a couple week ago and ordered two Augie March records from Australia, their Sunset Studies debut on Sony that got its first vinyl pressing for RSD 2016 (highly recommended), and the new Bootikins, which I think will be one of my favorites this year based on just a few digital listens, and will probably be complete love after a few vinyl spins. Kind of expensive with shipping, but I really wanted them, so once in a while it doesn't hurt to treat yourself to something special. Ordered from Rockaway Records in Brisbane, nice people. Sunset Studies was practically a steal, Bootikins kind of the opposite, but the new one is the same price everywhere, so overall not too bad with their fair shipping cost.
Nice! I dig the all black discs! "How much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black!"

I'm sure some probably do think that early krautrock is a bit dull You may like the new Psychic Lemon record, Frequency Rhythm Distortion Delay, I've mentioned it a few times in this and other threads, really fun space rock with (I think) some heavy nods to Amon Düül II, one of my favorites this year. Got a purple splatter vinyl issue on German label Tonzonen Records ... What's your latest vinyl purchase?
