I need all of the above, and I bet I know one person who would like a country music choice.

 

There was no option for R&B, so I was forced to check rock & roll. And, I do like a bit of everything.

Steve, I just wanted definative answers. Too easy to slide by results by offering multiple choices.

 

I prefer Rock n Roll but I do like other forms of Music too. I even go to a couple Boston Symphony concerts every year.

My vote has been cast...although I do need that "all-of-the-above-and-then-some" choice. I lean toward jazz but I like blues & rock almost as much.

Now, is that "Rock 'n' Roll" as in Buddy Holly, Bill Hailey, Platters, Drifters, etc. type of rock 'n' roll or is it something else?

Everyone! When I first posted the poll I didn't know how to include multiple variance listings (more than 4) and the forum program wouldn't let me undo this (I would include Country now).

There are other sub-categorys as well ie. Folk, Rap etc., but I just wanted to know where the majority of the audiophile dollar was being spent as far as what kind of music it was being spent on.

Since the poll technology has its limit, I voted for rock and roll and am including some of my favorite country, alt-country, bluegrass, folk and rock and roll under the same umbrella although a few of my favorites in those categories could fit in the blues or even jazz with a stretch.
