Some cabinet my wife picked out. It's very sturdy, and is located in a walled corner next to a load bearing beam, so the table is well isolated from foot traffic and extraneous vibrations. Location is critical.

Mine sits on an IKEA Expedit, and I have concrete floor, so it´s no problem at all. But I´m actually going to test bamboo, been thinking about it for some time.
It´s going to be a 60mm x 350mm x 450mm block bolted into the feet holes on the TT. But this is just to see if the rigidity of the block is going to reduce any vibrations coming from the TT, not from the floor.

My shelve rack I built from oak plywood and 3/4 all thread bolts . Nuts and washers hold the shelves in place. I have had them for nearly 20 years and reconfigured them for 3 different residences. I doubt it is much of a audiophile rack.

I use a Mana Wall shelf with Reference Layer. It could almost be considered essential for LP12 owners.

I have used it for probably 10 years now.

Little mid century end table with the little raised shelf-its on the main part and the optical/amp are on the raised part.

...which is on concrete slab floor.

....and did I mention the gel rests under each foot? I can hit the table, nada through the speakers. Just 3m mouse wrist rests.

Not at all "hillbilly." That's a classic FleXy Rack (and a nicely finished one at that).

How much vibration do you feel on the platter surface when heavy bass notes are playing from a CD? Pick a CD remastered from an analog tape to avoid excessive CD bass that would not occur on a vinyl record. That is a quick way to see how big an issue you have.

On some cheap stereo rack. I don't even remember where I got it from. I need something better, that's for sure

A dealer once told me of a customer that had a concrete column poured from the basement through the first floor finished at turntable height.

I've put my Rega on a spiked Lovan audio rack. I filled the rack tubes with sand, maybe this was not the best idea?
Any feedback would be appreciated .

That's what I have. My various Rega tables over the years have worked very well there.

Feedback is not appreciated in Lp playback... ;)

I think that should be fine.Having the stand structure deadened is a good thing. If it has glass shelves, those should be decoupled with thick, soft rubber pads as well. The top shelf for the Rega table should be a light and rigid material and if you have any issue with vibration getting into the stand or the stand rocking on a loose floor, etc, then you should use a double top shelf with the top layer isolated from the lower layer. The lower layer might best be heavier.

I know its not right, but for about a year and a half my RP1 has been on top of my marantz CD6004, which is on top of my PM5004.
I must get a proper table.
