If you could have one of their guitars which would it be? I have included most of the popular ones but if there's another not listed mark 'other' and comment on which one. The guitar has to still be around somewhere and is given to you as is.
Me, the Rick 325 with Bigsby, John's first Rickenbacker. Though Paul's Hofner and Rik are close.

Macca's 1963 Hofner is probably worth the most, so I'd take that.

I don't play a guitar, have no plans to start learning. So, I agree with you whole-heartedly. I go for the most iconic.......... and that's worth a few quid :D

George got one at the same time, mid-1965.
George painted his abs turned it into “Rocky”.

Of course. It's in Help, with a paint job, and in Let it Be without.

Another vote for the J-160E. Unique sounding rhythm (think Hard Day’s Night or Should’ve Known Better) guitar. Dirty raunchy plugged in (think Twist and Shout). Their secret weapon.

When I first read the title of this thread I didn’t see the word “guitar”. I thought the question was which beatle would you want!
I’d go with Ringo, he would probably be the funnest to hang out with

Went with the Rick 12 string. I believe the rosewood Tele weighs a ton.

George’s cherry Les Paul as played in the Revolution clip.
Given to him by Eric Clapton IIRC, maybe there’s someone here who knows a little bit about this and can confirm or correct me.

What clinches it for me is that he also played that in Wings. When I was a kid I had Wings pics and posters all over the place, and he's got that bass in all of them.
