Which is your favourite of George's three big Beatles songs?

While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Something and Here Comes the Sun have long been George's three biggest Beatles songs, with little room for debate.

I voted While My Guitar Gently Weeps. If I were a lounge singer, I might have voted Something else.

 

I'm partial to "Here Comes The Sun".

3 way tie. I love them all. I've always contended that George was the Beatles secret weapon.

 

Something > While My Guitar Gently Weeps > Here Comes The Sun.

Sometimes I listen to Something and the build up in the chorus before the solo is so stunning. The production is just perfect.

 

In 1966-onward. They had so many, though. My vote is for how angry and weird John was. It made their songs much more gruff.

 

Probably Guitar, but Taxman is my favourite Harrison song with the Beatles

 

While My Guitar Gently Weeps usually isn't considered quite on the same level as the other two, but it's my favorite Beatles song. By any of them.

 

Went- 'here comes the sun'.

 

Of these three, "Weeps".

"Savoy Truffle" is still his best Beatle song, though.

 

I'm voting for "Something", George. I think it's marvelous.

Love You To, From Revolver is far & away his best song for me.

 

Three absolute classics, but 'Gently Weeps' edges it for me; I find myself drawn to it most often.

 

I voted for While My Guitar Gently Weeps, as I think it's the best one of the three you listed.

However, I am also partial to I Me Mine, Think For Yourself, and Old Brown Shoe. Oh and basically all his other Beatles songs because let's be honest -- they're all awesome (even Piggies).

Really? I think you can make a good argument for Taxman being better than all of those three. In this poll it is rated the highest GH song and number 7 overall:

Since the White Album remix, I've been fascinated with "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". The other two are close behind, and as someone else posted, "Taxman" is pretty good too.

 

You sound like an obsolete model.

 

I prefer While My Guitar by far.

Although the other two may well be "objectively" "better songs".
