Just the idea for The Human Centipede scarred me enough, I refuse to see it.

It's actually nowhere near as scarring as you'd expect. The concept itself is, of course, pretty disturbing.. but watching the film is nowhere near as horrifying as people have made it out to be.

I wonder who will be the first to mention the Ooogieloves movie?

If they make a sequel that combines Oogieloves with the Human Centipede, I'm there.

    Ooogieloves...
    my Ooogieloves...
I need you, oh how I need you!
But all you do is treat me bad
Break my heart and leave me sad...

Are you sure about the title? I did some searching but couldn't find anything about a movie called "The Loves of Caligula"...

I don't remember the title, but a Japanese film, b&w, from the 1960's I believe, about a man in a basement who's into this horrible torture and mutilation of a woman. It just goes on and on and on. I couldn't finish it.

The original Funny Games (German?) just left me disgusted and puzzled.

I saw the original UK version of 28 Days Later on a big screen in LA. It was not enjoyable. Just too much, with the girl having to shoot her father, etc.

Susperia, Eraserhead, Blue Velvet and Leolo (in the theater) all had an affect on me for a long time. Susperia, Eraserhead and Blue Velvet all use sound as a big part of telling the story and freaking the Sh!t out of you. And they were LOUD.

If you haven't seen Leolo yet, check it out. Highly recommended.

Well to be fair, Phil Spector *did* rig the movie to mess with Brian's mind. "Hello...Mr. Wilson."

I was twelve when I ignored the 14 and up warning for the movie "the day after". I had to watch about 5 hours of mtv to get it out of my head and sleep that night. I tried to watch the movie again in my 30s and was mentally taken back to being 12 again and imagine that at one push of a button that can still happen.

Casino, Goodfellas. Those type of films. The violence is so graphic and real. Great films but scary.

I have to disagree with you on this one. The vile disgusting ass to mouth connection and the thought of feeding as the "nut" called it made me sick...I can find no reason to enjoy a movie like this...it is full of crap...pun intended.

It's about poor factory workers struggling for life in the early seventies. Scary.

John Waters' "Female Trouble" -makes "Pink Flamingos" seem mainstream. Also, "Roadhouse". Oh, and "Mark of the Devil", truly disturbing.

Under The Rainbow (1981) - This movie was so horribly bad, so unfunny, so completely inept in every conceivable way that I'm still trying to erase it from my memory...obviously without success.

My grandmother told me that she went to see Nosferatu, which was released in 1922 (She was born in 1903)

When Max Schreck first appeared she said the woman sitting in front of her jumped up, crossed herself, screamed "Jesus, Mary and Joseph" and ran out of the movie theatre.

Not sure if it is the same Waters movie, but saw one as a teen that was something about a lesbian kingdom where men are castrated or something. It was really violent and mean spirited. Not at all like other films of his that I've seen.
