I only need half of Tales done. Ritual and The Revealing Science of God. Those are keepers. That should help keep the cost down. :)
As Wakeman says, there's a lot of padding in the rest.

I'll take the whole of Relayer, in all it's mad glory.

I see I just cast a tie vote but haven't read the thread yet  While Tales might be cool to hear in a trippy hi-fi demo disc sense, the songs on Relayer are much better and that's the one I'd buy from AF (tho I'm perfectly happy with my original Atlantic copy).

Oh hell just do "Yes" through to "Drama". Make on a subscription basis. They can have my money right now!

...well not right now, but tomorrow is payday ;)

Actually the Mofi Yes album is a bit bass heavy. I would recommend the HD Tracks download instead.

The truth will come out. It's probably been only 12 people voting for Tales to try skew the results!

Both. I don't care which one gets released first.

You got that right. Picked up the FLAC 24/96 version and it's much more evenly handled than the MOFI. The original Atlantic CD is excellent too, not add stodgy in comparison to the MOFI.

Bought the 24/96 to see how the Onkyo handled FLAC and it worked a treat. Played it straight off a USB flash drive.

With Chris Squire's distorted Rickenbacker sound, it'd stand to reason that it would be bass heavy.

I prefer Tales, but I voted Relayer. It's in greater need.

... and Yessongs wasn't in the poll ...

It would stand to reason, but this bass is overwhelming. I love punchy Squire bass as much as any Yes fan but it needs to be measured within the overall mix. I remixed by lowering the bass EQ and found it much more listenable. But the best version is the HD Tracks.

Relayer....I kinda like the Rhino Tales. Relayer needs it more.

It really wasn't necessary to repeat. Nothing anybody posts here is going to persuade me that HDTracks is better than MFSL - y'know, the latter is the company that actually established audiophile mastering.
