Who has a UK 45 of Pink Floyd ‘see emily play’ that’s sounds good w no distortion?

    So I’m on my 3rd copy of this...all of them look pretty clean and don’t have much surface noise. None of them show any of the usual signs of groove wear, but they all have distortion throughout the track, particularly during the louder sections.

    It doesn’t sound like this on my Early Singles cd. Was this just mastered bad back when the pressed the original 45s? It’s a super loud cut, so maybe it was just cut too hot? I can’t imagine getting 3 bad pressings of this in a row.

    How do the US 45s compare?
