AKA, where do I need to send the BTTF 2 and 3 Discs for the exchange? http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=camcrowe2000
What's up with that? Should I wait before I buy the set? Sam's has it for $34.95. I've been tempted, but if there's a problem....
Rudy, Universal goofed on the discs for Parts 2 and 3 and they arent the Original Aspect Ratio, I've heard you can mail the discs in, but I don't know the address or shipping instructions. As for the ones in stores now, I don't know for sure.
PJF2K: thanks! I would hope the DVDs would have been recalled and there are no more bad sets out there. I almost hate to take the chance. Then again, how would I know the correct ratio? If it were fullscreen (pan/scan), I'd be ticked. Otherwise...
Rudy, Here is a link to some info about the corrected BTTF discs. Remastered Discs II and III Michael, Here is a link with the info for those of us who already have the incorrect versions. Returning BTTF Discs -Derek
I have an Aficionado account, but haven't updated it in about a year. I prefer DVD Profiler for cataloging my stuff. I like that it has a database that's local to my computer and has tons of custom report options. My Collection... http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mycollection.asp?alias=Eberling
DVD Profiler is free. You simply have to go to www.dvdprofiler.com and download their program, sign up for an account and enter your DVDs in the software. They do keep a database of UPC's so all you need to do is enter the UPC and see if it is in the database, if it isn't you have to enter it manually but sometimes when I upload, I have to upload the tables from the website onto my computer as the data is already in the DVD Profiler web database but just not updated in the program database yet. In other words, not perfect but the best as I tried DVD Aficionado but didn't like that database.
Thaks for the info, cb. What a cool site! Here's my collection: http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mc.asp?alias=audiom3&type=O&sc=C&ls=A

Thanks, cbs. The scary part (at least for my wife), is that I had about a dozen titles in November '02. It's addicting collecting those damn things!
