    C’mon don’t be shy!

Who has the biggest Beatles collection? Who’s the Big Daddy of this forum?

Counting album titles as one (not two for a double album, for example), but counting titles seperarately if you have different versions (remixes, LPs, CDs).

Also any other things worth mentioning (books, Sgt Pepper suits, Ringo’s underwear, etc).

My own modest collection consists of 19 CDs (6 Beatles, 6 Lennon, 3 McCartney, 1 Ringo and 3 Yoko). I know Yoko wasn’t a Beatle, but she can be included because I like her.

I also have 8 books on Beatles related stuff and a couple of DVDs.

Where is the line between fan and obsessive, I wonder.

OK, since no one has piped up yet..

I have four Beatles LP's and a couple of books. I don't expect to be in second place here long.

Do 7” with picture sleeves count?

I guess strictly using ‘biggest’ as the criteria, 7” records will always pale to the 12” format.

Lots more than that but nowhere near as many as some

According to the spreadsheet, 124 albums and around that many singles and EP's as well

All the original lps, not necessarily first pressings but. All the monos except yelsub. Most of the stereos, certainly post rubsoul. Oh, and the mono Revolver first press with the wrong tnn.

A few odeon versions, not the uk exports but the scandi pressings that were made for UK forces in Germany etc. We lived there. Some of those are quite pricy now.

All the UK singles, mostly from the year of origin. A penny Lane picsleeve. The 1966 Christmas flexi.

Oh, and that Italian interview with Kenny on Apple. "Cottonfields", "very pal", all that.

Some of the modern reissues on that deag series. The Christmas discs box.

    A few bootlegs.

    Oh, a mono Wonderwall music..

An 8-track pepper, a few cassettes..

A few paperbacks of the films, "Love me do the Beatles progress" and so on.

    And, miscellaneous.

I don't know exact numbers but something like-

    Beatles - 19 vinyl, 60 CDs and 15 DVDs

    McCartney - about 170 CDs/vinyl and maybe 10 DVDs

Lennon about 25 CDs and 2 vinyl and 4 DVDs

George approx. 20 CDs and 12 vinyl and 1 DVD

Ringo failed to trouble the scorer.

Others (Yoko/Linda/Sean/James Mc etc.) about 10 CDs

    Okay...
    •252 - Beatles CDs
    •162 - Solo CDs
    •70 - DVDs
    •267 - Books
•14 - bound volumes of Beatles Monthly mags
•1 - 4x7 cabinet with 8 glass shelves filled with Beatles Stuff
•11 framed pieces of Beatles art, which includes movie posters, promo posters, signed stuff, etc.
A closet full of boxes of magazines and things like sheet music, Billboard ads, etc.
About 20 years ago, I got rid of all my vinyl. Which included every US 7"w/picture sleeve group or solo. The only one missing was the VeeJay promo ep. A ton of foreign sleeves from everywhere. LPs...pretty much everything US wise....anyway, too much and too sad to think about.
The only vinyl I kept were the first Beatles import LPs I bought in '66 when I realized they were different than the US releases.
    Oh well, easy come...

I have all of them etched into my brain. I don't bother with external listening anymore, let alone Beatles physical media, because they have all been uploaded into my internal memory bank. Not sure what the gear profile is, but I think it involves neurons.
