    I *think* Steve was referring to the later MFSL LPs when he made the comment about the treble boost. Remember how they started off with vinyl, then dropped it, then brought it back? Of course, Steve could clear this up quickly.

    Regarding the Beatles box, it's has "smile" EQ applied -- boosted top and bottom end. This has been confirmed by none other than Stan Ricker, so I think you can take it to the bank.
