I have it, Peaches and Henry Rollins help out, and Us and Them and Money stand out. Not for the timid. But if you are a Flips fan, it is golden.

If you take away my Beatles/solo, Stones/solo, Who/solo, and VU/Lou, I'd have a much more manageable collection!

On vinyl it's the Stones, on CD it's Beatles.

Three largest would have to be
    David Bowie
    The Beatles
    The Rolling Stones

If you would count the Crosby, Stills , Nash and Young conglomerate in their various group and solo offerings, they would be in third place.

Bob Dylan by far. When I cataloged my collection, even I was surprised that he had over 400 entries. No other artist even comes close.

I'm too lazy to look at my RateYourMusic account and give exact figures, but off the top of my head I know I own a whole bunch o' stuff* by the following....

    Dokken
    Metallica
    Raven
    Overkill
    Ramones
    Savatage
    AC/DC
    W.A.S.P.
    Megadeth
    Judas Priest
    Iron Maiden
    KISS

(*"bunch of stuff" = at least a dozen items/releases per band)

Oh, yeah, if we're counting duplicates as well, Elvis Costello. I only have his first 11 album, but I have one of each single-disc Hip-O (my listening/playing copies) and various Rhinos (one of each except two of My Aim Is True, This Year's Model, King Of America, and three of Armed Forces, one of which is sealed). Plus a Ryko Get Happy!! without the spindle teeth and the Rhino 2-CD best-of. If we count number of discs instead of number of cases, he definitely wins.

EDIT: Also forgot AC/DC - every core studio album, though I need to replace Blow Up Your Video because the digipak is misprinted.

The Fall, easily. Probably Stereolab after them.

Well, "various artists" is the largest part of my collection, if you want to be pedantic.
