It used to be you could ALWAYS count on a cameo by Steve Buscemi in an adam sandler film - and his appearance was always worth the price of admission alone!

What happened that Steve stopped appearing in his films? Did they have a falling out? Ever notice that since Steve Buscemi has stopped appearing, that the quality of Adam Sandler films has taken a toboggon slide downhill??

He probably got busy doing his own things. I think Adam was giving his friend some work. That's just my guess.

He stole the show in The Wedding Singer!

    "The better man!"

    "Hey wedding singer! Wooohooo."

 Buscemi was in Sandler's second to last movie: "Grown Ups", from last summer.

So he missed the newest - what's the big deal?

I like his appearance in Billy Madison, with the lipstick... This would have been a good poll

Maybe he's got a new contract where he gets to stand in the rain in all the John Cusack movies...?

I don't know what happened, but I totally agree with you that his appearance was worth the price of admission alone. Because you knew that his appearance would always just be absolutely ridiculous.

Probably because he's gotten to big to want to appear in films like that.

Not a really big hill there, man. This is Adam Sandler we're talking about here...

So people are still answering this thread like it's accurate?

Complete list of movies with Sandler and Buscemi:

    1994: Airheads
    1995: Billy Madison
    1998: Wedding Singer
    1999: Big Daddy
    2002: Mr. Deeds
2007: I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
    2010: Grown Ups

That's it. He wasn't in seven or eight straight and then vanished - he hasn't done very many over the years, so this entire thread started from the false notion that Buscemi was a Sandler regular and quit...

Hey I only saw maybe 3 of these, but I know Steve has had much better things to do in the last few years.

The Sandler films with the Buscemi cameos were the best, and yes, they did quite a run of films like that.

Unfortunately, no. Just shows the only way to get Steve Buscemi quality is to actually have Steve Buscemi in the film!! I loved it when he played the "gun nut" guy in Billy Madison that crossed Sandler off his "list" after a nice phone call LOL. CLASSIC!!

Well, I know damn well not to trust any claims of "Steve Buscemi Quality" in film advertising until I verify he's actually in the film. They're always trying to screw loyal moviegoers. Just think, next Sandler film, they'll gyp us out of Rob Schneider too!!

No - I posted the complete list...

Not sure 7 movies over 16 years is "quite a run". Yeah, most of those appearances were 1994 to 1999, but it still seems weird you're bemoaning a "run" that ended 12 years ago and acting like Sandler/Buscemi haven't done anything together in recent years...

He's done much, much better, IMO...

Adam should follow Steve's example and also stop appearing in his films.
