Have you ever suddenly noticed something obvious on an album cover that previously escaped your attention? Yesterday I noticed that Phil Collins was covered in flopsweat on the cover of No Jacket Required. I understand there is a correlation between Phil's profuse perspiration and the jacket referenced in the title, but if a jacket is not required, shouldn't he be cool, comfortable and sweat-free? Was this an attempt at irony? Regardless, this doesn't begin to explain why nearly ever album cover he has appeared on features an extreme closeup of his potato-like head and/or face. What other album covers have obvious elements that you missed the first several times you looked at them?
