How many people are acting in a TV show or in a movie during the course of an average year?

Does that mean that every one of them are guaranteed a job the next year or any time in the future, this is not dealing with reality.

I think that it was a very valid point that was brought up with children. They are in the part, first and foremost, because they look good on camera and can say their lines. How much actual talent is involved?

The Brady Bunch, six kids, what part do they play? Kids. Not a big stretch, being that they are kids.

How much are they really in demand after the show is cancelled?

There is always new talent coming on the scene. Everything is always up for grabs.

There are auditions, that is what determines who gets the part, same with adults.

What people should be looking at is, that there are many actors who start out acting at a young age and have steady work, year after year. Look at their filmography's in IMDB.

These people hone their craft and keep moving forward, always finding work.

The others need to find employment, just the same as anyone else.

Actually, ex-TV personalities can get paid to make public appearances, the average "Joe" can not.

There are ways for them to continue their income streams, IF they are willing to do what it takes.

Here's hoping that kid from Stranger Things; Millie Bobby Brown, doesn't get consumed by the system. Seems like she's got skills.

I doubt that she will. She has real talent and she is very intelligent.

    Here she is on set.

The young girl in front of Millie is Olivia, she is @Steve Hoffman 's daughter.
