Sunshine Tomorrow? Sounds like one of those titles given to albums in the public domain in Europe. Or, could it be the title of a previously unknown song?

Lyrics from "Let The Wind Blow". With that title I wonder if "Wild Honey" will get it's own, separate stand alone release. ?

And calling it '1967' opens the door to all sorts of possibilities.....

True, but on first glance, it sounds like another fun in the sun comp.

I'm still waiting for "Sunshine Dream" to get a CD release!

It certainly made "history" as the only one of the three 2-Lp compilations to just have true mono and stereo.

I used to have the cassette in the car. It was my favorite comp.

I'm hopeful that Sunshine Tomorrow is something exciting. June 30th, that's awesome, we won't have to wait too long. Yes I said that.

I'm just thinking that a good stereo mix may not be possible. Don't know what options they have with tapes

Well, the term "Good" is subjective. I can tell you that it will be different due to the missing work parts. This is why it has taken this long to get the album out in a stereo mix. We have been clamoring for this for years and Capitol decided to do so this year. So, here's hoping!

The stereo mix is the least exciting element of this package for me, based on what we've heard so far. I'll be glad to have the stereo option, but I'm not sure it's going to ring my bell the way "Pet Sounds" and "Smiley Smile" did. Hell, even the remix of "Do It Again" kicks ass. But this might go the way of stereo "Today" and become the sonic equivalent of water-boarding.

Unreleased tracks...that's what I'm all about. And the original mono album in the best sound ever. If this were coming from Analogue Productions I'd have a glimmer of hope of that, but seeing as how it's from Capitol I won't get excited.

Will 2018 bring us "The Beach Boys - 1968 - When The Two Get Together Uh Uh Uh Uh Uh Uhhhhhhh..."?

Best ever Wild Honey in mono? Get the Pastmasters disc :)

I'd be in for a 1968 set...Friends is f'ing underrated...big time...the last time Brian was in truly on his game and in charge of doing Beach Boys albums. Love You is a different story.

I'm hoping that the naming of the set alludes to the fact that it includes songs outside of Wild Honey Sessions (Smiley Smile & Lei'd in Hawaii).

    You're set :)

They should just clone the Pastmasters into this new project

Lei'd is a curious project...2 shows and the afternoon sound checks recorded/performed in the Smiley Smile stripped down manner. And the post-Lei'd sessions at Wally Heider studios, in an attempt to re-dux the Lei'd stuff....and that carried right over into the Wild Honey period. The Lei'd shows are good, but they could've been great. And more than one of the boys was stoned...you can hear it :)

It is fun to hear what The Beach Boys biggest hits sound like when given the Smiley Smile treatment. Lay off the hash!

They also have some really good live recordings from December '67 to choose from, if they are of a mind to include them (or just save it for the inevitable 'download only' release. Gah. I haven't bought the last two. I like to touch things! Maybe someday they can go back and offer them on CD or, I've died and gone to heaven, vinyl!!!
