Looking forward to this because it seems to be bucking the DC murderverse template.

If the early reviews are any indication, DC movies will have beaten Marvel to the punch in producing a hit female-led superhero movie.

I dont know about the movie, but Gal Gadot is one of the most beautiful women Ive ever seen. Lucky man, her husband.

He's a lot less sycophantic than Jimmy Fallon.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Marvel: 3,297, DC: 1 :p

    I'm pretty sure there won't be a She-Hulk movie.

Whoever has Wonder Woman has a pretty clear advantage...

Whether one loves or loathes "Wonder Woman", one could only hope that its success might at least finally begin to erode the embarrassing score-keeping and my-team-is-better-than-yours mentality between some Marvel and DC fans.

For myself, I've seen about three films in the "Superhero" genre that quality as genuinely great films. The first two Nolan Batman films, and "Logan." A few others come close, but that's about it.

    Dr. Pepper What, me worry?

At 97% it's the highest scoring super hero film on Rotten Tamatoes ever!

My prediction 1 billion plus world wide!

I was just being snarky. I'm not in any way a Marvel fanboy, so I don't have any skin in the comparison game. As a matter of fact, I enjoy the DC universe much more than the Marvel universe when it comes to comic books. That's why I've been so disappointed in DC's handling of their film properties compared to Marvel. Let's face it - Marvel knows exactly how to do their movies right where DC does not.

All of that said, I'm happy to hear the early reviews on WW being so positive. Perhaps this will mark a jumping-off point to many better DC movies in the future.

I read that the movie is tracking for an $87 Million opening weekend at the domestic box office. We'll see if it meets that number.

That's ironic, since it's set in WW I.

I just caught it, and yes, my first thought was it is easily the first DC film I enjoyed since The Dark Knight.

The first 15 minutes are pretty bad, but stick with it...

I had no intention of seeing it -- until I read the awesome reviews. But I'll wait till next weekend, when I can see it with It Comes at Night (the movie I really want to see).
