They've got plenty of other candidates--never once did I think "Feelin' Stronger Every Day" was cheesy.

Probably could have made a great single LP getting rid of Free Form and maybe a couple of other weaker tracks.

I love Chicago but they either have songs I really like on their albums or I really think are boring, not much in between though.

'Cos most people aren't that discerning, and some of 'em are just plain dumb.

I agree. I was only quoting Instant Dharma, not yourself.

"Feelin' Stronger Every Day" may be commercial/pop, but it's not cheesy. Now "Sugar Sugar"... that's cheesy. But in a good way! :D

    Nope. "Free Form" is terrific.

The D. Foster stuff generally makes me want to throw up. The '80s were almost a non-stop cringefest for any artist who did anything worthwhile in the '70s.

I agree with the 3rd statement wholeheartedly. However, "Free Form Guitar" is still terrible. :D

Essentially everything after about 1980 or so. Especially those horrible, but radio friendly, power ballads from the 1990's.

It's pretty amazing to consider that Harry Truman made it to #13 on the charts. I don't recall ever hearing it on the radio, and I listened to a lot of top 40 at that time...

But Harry Truman is 1000x better than Free Form Guitar. THAT is a song that actually pisses me off when it comes up...I am offended by the worthless wanking that goes on forever.

I like "Colour My World" better than all the songs you mentioned, and I don't reach for it to listen to it by itself, but it sounds good in the medley, and I never skip over it.
Worst song? They started to lose me with the ballads. I guess I would have to say "If You Leave Me Now". YUCK!!

Worst song had to be anything from their 'disco' album.

Street Player is a top 10 Chicago song for me. I also love Aloha Mama, Life Is What It Is, and Must've Been Crazy.

I like “Will You Still Love Me”, but its not a Chicago song. Kenny Rogers could have recorded it.

    I like Free Form Guitar.

I cant stand Old Days. Some of XIV is very strong. Some of VII is very weak. Hot Streets and 13 are abysmal. I cant believe the same guy produced 52nd St. and The Nylon Curtain.
