Would this improve the sound of my Crosley TT?

    So would a Crosley, if we were to be perfectly honest about it.

    They're just cheap record players. Nothing new about that.

    I heard a Crosley sound quite nice one time...as it hit the bottom of a dumpster.

    Well, I'll be honest - I've never heard a Crosley, but in my distant youth, I used several turntables that were at least as bad or perhaps worse, and I still own many of the records that I played on those cheap units and they still play well and sound great.

    I'd rather play MP3 than listen to a Crosley, or better yet at least get a VM School Phono (VM made decent models of such), or a decent Newcomb Transcription player (Preferably with GE VR II magnetic)

    I recently found this at a yard sale for $15, an Audiotronics school record player, designed to survive middle school. The variable speed adjustment was a bit too variable for me:
