I believe he's the Cigarette Smoking Man in flashbacks. He's appeared in the series before, if I'm not mistaken.
But he's speaking to Mulder and Scully in the present day... The young Cigarette-Smoking Man was played by Chris Owens, who later portrayed Agent Spender on the show.
as my favorite show of all time, i've little to no faith in this new series. the last one was just so damn bad.
I feel same way I loved that show so much own all dvds .. No real desire watch bad version of the x files..
I thought the last season was 50/50. Hopefully they can improve upon it this time. The trailer intrigues me, but all that means is that they made a good trailer.
It had its moments, but the bad parts were so very, very bad that they overshadowed the good completely.
Scully to Skinner: "We need your help, even if we don't trust you." Oh, boy, they're trotting out the old "can Skinner be trusted or not" plot device... Didn't they already do that at least half a dozen times on the original show?
Some reports indicate that Gillian Anderson says season 11 will be her last television season on the X-Files.
probably more like "Some reports indicate that Gillian Anderson says season 11 will be her last television season at her current pay rate, on the X-Files."
And here's a new teaser trailer that just hit today: Am I crazy, or is Gillian Anderson's voice completely shot? Really hoarse and scratchy. On the plus side, the's the most defocused actress on television, so she looks great (and is presently 49 years old).
I thought she sounded fine in the clips from the new season, but the interview material sounded rough. Maybe she had a cold that day?
Well....Anderson might want more money and she has been quite busy with other shows from the BBC. I hope--if they do some more--that she will be a part IF the writing is good enough. The six episodes from the previous season were pretty weak.
Yep she did in some of the episodes, in others she sounded fine. Perhaps doing British accents is taking a toll on her voice.
