I read Atlantic didn't release many copies in 1988 , which is strange considering all the people involved and time in rehearsals trying to put the songs together.

She's performed and revamped most of the album live to an ecstatic audience and the songs sounded fine.

I wonder if she regrets not releasing it 20 years ago when people were spending a lot of money on the bootleg copies. I'm sure she's signed a few of those at the meet and greets.

Now to get her to put the Narada Michael Walden tape out there.

She recorded some demos in 1983 with him that were never released, supposedly dance pop. She recorded a lot of demos in the 80s, but that was her first time with a famous musician/producer.

Do you have a link for other info? Like, do you mean Black Friday or *next* RSD?

She played Etienne on Friday night in Glasgow on the final show of the European Tour. It was great.

  10. Indeed she does - I saw an interview recently where this came up, and she's fine with it.

My local record store. Indie stores should be able to special order RSD items for you.

Since most copies of the LP have saw marks and most copies of the CD have drill holes, it is pretty obvious why Atlantic didn't release many copies. Don't think most people even knew about until Little Earthquakes was released.

I suspect this will be a hard one to get on RSD. Seems like a very conservative print run.

I see it listed as a 'RSD First Release' and recognize several others listed in that section that are getting a wide release later. Does this mean I won't have to scramble around looking for a copy? Not that I'd ever listen to it a second time, but the completist in me...

Yes that means it will get the first release for RSD, but a wider release will follow at some point afterwards.

Truly, 4000 doesn't seem that limited for a Tori Amos item at this point in her career.

It would be enough in a world without eBay, but we don't live in that world.
