Given the recent Yes remasters (I haven't heard the SHM-CDs), the name "High Vibration" worries me. ;)

37,905 yen is $380 USD. $23.75 USD per disc. Not too bad. Hopefully they get the mastering right.

Is it only the bonus disc that is the CD/SACD Hybrid ?

That's kinda the way it reads but who knows? This would be way out of my price range anyway considering what most Japanese releases usually cost. Would be nice to get all (or most of) these titles in SACD format one by one thru AF & Mofi.

If Steve could tell us if he is going to master more Yes albums, he would save us a lot of money. :sigh::help:

    That's the plan.

I don't know what to think. It is a pretty sure bet that Steve's versions will sound better than those, but he might not get to work on all the albums...

If those SACDs are just transfers of the HDTracks masterings, then it is settled.

I don't have SACD playback anymore anyway, and that's a lot of cash that could be better spent on whatever materializes out of the Steve Wilson involvement in the Yes camp. I would love a King Crimson style series.

For better or worse, according to this track listing this new set ditches most of the bonus tracks that had previously been on the Yes reissues and adds a selection of them to the 16th bonus disc.

    http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=WPCR-14663

Running the track listing for the bonus disc through a translator, it looks like we get:
    SOMETHING'S COMING
    DEAR FATHER
    ROUNDABOUT
    AMERICA
    TOTAL MASS RETAIN (single version)
    SOON (single edit)
    ABILENE
RUN THROUGH THE LIGHT (single version)
    RUN WITH THE FOX
OWNER OF A LONELY HEART (move yourself mix)
    LEAVE IT (single Remix)
    BIG GENERATOR (Remix)

    I think I'll pass...

My first Yes experience was 90125 when I was 13, so it is still my favorite Yes album. With this crowd, I'd better :hide:.

I'd obviously love to have the bonus tracks tacked on the end of each disc as before, but I'll still consider this set if all the discs are SACDs.

It's my favorite to Keith. Bought it for Owner of Lonely Heart and now it's probably my least favorite track on the album. It also started me on getting the older albums.
