Yet another UDI/UDII comparison

Is there any difference between UDI and UDII MFSL CD's? This was discussed earlier many times (see UDI/UDII Tumbleweed Connection comparisons or Pink Floyd "Dark Side Of The Moon" UDI/UDII Comparison Results for example). Now you may get your own answer - just visit the link and compare them!

 

This guy's own DSotM comparisons are a little off between the 2 in the selected area shown for the wave images. some don't start or end in the exact same spot (like "Speak To Me" - CD-1 has 15 heartbeats; CD-2 has 14 and starts 1 heartbeat early and ends 2 heartbeats early) and some just end in slightly different places (like all the others). That could introduce other frequencies into those analysis screen captures between the two such that the two versions won't look the same.

Just a fraction of a second difference in the selection of an area of the same wave file is going to give slightly different frequency analysis graphs.

In other words, that doesn't show me anything.

I bet you went directly to screens and didn't play the audio files. The queston is - can one hear any difference or not.
Yes I have cut audio fragments manually so they don't match, but I don't think 0.01 sec difference makes remarkable contribution into frequency analysis graphs.
