Anyone watch this show? I think it's a lot of fun. I hope this eventually turns up on DVD. One thing I noticed is that some of the content they wouldn't be able to get away with today.

What do you think of the show?

I remember watching it occasionally when I was a kid, but I was never a hardcore fan or anything. I do remember a few of the sketches, like the "Introduction to the Opposites", the dirty cook who always said "I heard that!", and the green slime that got dumped on anyone who ever said "I don't know".

And wasn't a young Alanis Morissette part of the cast?

Yes I was obsessed with that show. It was on at 4pm everyday M-F. I couldn't wait when the new seasons started. I used to our water over my head like the show and made my friends do it too.

Great show- It's even funnier now that I'm re-watching it as an adult. Very clever show. :)

It's funny now to think of a show like this being "forbidden"... it's so tame and harmless compared to the stuff that's around now. :)

What was it that they found offensive about it?

Not wrong at all. It was a good show. Unlike today where we like to draw thick lines dividing up shows, movies, music, etc into age demographics, back then was more grey. The show appealed to many age groups and that's a good thing.

Used to love it when it was originally on. Found a bunch of episodes online a couple of years ago, and quite enjoyed watching it again.

Some of the topics (and jokes!) were pretty daring and progressive for a "kids show".

Was a HUGE fan. I remember there was a Nickelodeon contest where you could send in a postcard for a chance to have a guest spot on the show, and my friend and I sent in dozens of them.

There's a great website dedicated to the show:

I grew up in the 80's and it was one of my favorite shows. A much better time in life.

Loved that show when I was a kid. I've watched a couple episodes on YouTube and I'm not sure it's aged well. I would like to see it on DVD or streaming officially, but if you read some of the behind the scenes information it's probably not going to happen.

I had a big crush on Christine McGlade.

I loved it. My favorite skit was the firing squad.

Another great Nick show from that time was "Double Dare", with a cool obstacle course at the end. I watched those two religiously.

    Thanks for the memory.

Wow! That really takes me back! As a kid, I was always grossed out by the Barth Burgers, but I loved the green slime and water routines.
