You could go back in time to see one Beatles' concert. Which of these would it be?

I assume that’s Danny Neaverth and Joey Reynolds? I have the
San 45 of “The Beatle” by the Buddies that at least Joey Reynolds was in on writing. I don’t have it handy or I’d double check that. I know the other side was the basis for one of Danny’s theme songs on WKBW.

    Thanks for the info!

I was thinking they did a quick show during Jimi’s sound check so John could make the last KLM flight that night to Amsterdam to meet Yoko.

Ed Sullivan for the sound quality
    Shea for the excitement
    Cavern for the set list
    Hamburg for the drugs

One of the dates when they shared the bill with Roy Orbison during May of 1963.

Shea. Just watching the footage it's easy to get swept up in the mania. They're having a great time, the crowd is going nuts, it's one of the most fun and infectious moments in pop culture.
Aside from that, leather outfitted Hamburg days .

I was going from memory & what I've read, but I just watched a little bit again after reading this. I certainly wouldn't say terrible, but you do have a point. Ringo in particular seems pretty bored.

    It's terrible.

They were tired of touring, and their chops were off. The relative lack of audience noise in Japan exposed how sloppy their live show had become.

Star Club, hands down, and i would pay whatever they were asking for the tapes.

The sets were long, the beer was cold and the music was raw and untamed.

I took a rock and roll tour of London on my first visit from Illinois and walking the Abbey Road crossing and seeing the studio was to me the ultimate highlight. But, a very close second came when we turned down Savile Row and I could pick out the familiar chimneys on the tall buildings on that narrow stretch leading to #3. Rooftop concert from anywhere where it could have been fully viewed is my choice, though on the street would have been strange but amazing too (is that really THEM?!?!).

The others would be great but this would be my choice as well. The birth of Beatlemania. I feel though that a lot of fans aren't aware of this concert or of its importance

The Cabana was a memorable hotel. Built by the same guy that built Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas a few years later. The architecture, night lighting, and design of the Cabana was seen as the predecessor to Caesar's.

Shea Stadium - I would make sure to get there six hours early & find a way to alert them to do a sound check because the audience will be LOUD.
