You Know You've Spent Too Much Time on This Forum When. . .

You have a dream in which you're rummaging through the bins in a brand new record store and all you're finding are rare Paul McCartney singles that you have no interest in whatsoever.

For fanatical collectors of non-existent McCartney records, here are the two I can remember:
- 12" single from the late seventies of a live version of 'Got to Get You Into My Life'. Cover was a photo of McCartney reclining at the front of the stage of a grand old theatre (red velvet curtains etc.) with band set up behind him. According to the sleeve, this 12" had an extended version of the A-side and it also had a coyly written warning about bad language across the bottom of the cover. There were two copies of this (priced at $34 and $48 respectively) as well as what appeared to be a double 10" version in a gatefold sleeve that I didn't check out in detail.
- 12" single from 1983 of a song called either 'It's in Here' or 'It's Me in Here'. Cover had a slightly overhead shot of Paul in shades moving through a crowded nightclub (pretty similar to a blue-tiunged version of the Manifesto cover, plus Paul McCartney). Two otherwise unavailable McCartney songs on the b-side. This one was only about 15 bucks.

As I said, my interest in McCartney solo releases is practically nil, so I can only blame SHTV for this dream!
