  2. I always thought it was interesting how Donovan referenced so many superheroes in his 60's material. I know he mentioned Green Lantern and Aquaman at some point, forgot the others. Donovan must have been a big fan of comic books.

Batman, but in the 60s comic book incarnation. Have really care for any big (or small screen) Batman.

Let's not forget *his* favorites, such as Baboon Boy and the Blue Blockhead.

A great character is one that has flaws, concerns, issues -- you know, like real people.

This is what makes Spider-Man the greatest all time superhero, and Stan Lee the greatest all-time superhero scribe.

I had to vote for none of the above.
My favorite is Herbie - The Fat Fury.

That's along my thinking lines too -- Legion of Super-Heroes. Even though the dialogue was wooden, they were probably my favourites because of their cool powers, notably Element Lad who could bring it with his amazing super-ability!

LOL, that reminds me of the South Park episode where the two geeks who invented the time machine couldn't bring Timmy back from the prehistoric past because they were arguing over the number of Star Trek episodes and weren't speaking to each other!

I'm a big comics/superhero fan, and my two faves for a long, long time have always been Flash and Green Lantern (with Batman a close third).

I think I always liked the Flash because his superpower seemed like something I could do -- run fast! Plus, his stories always had this cool "science" angle to them that I really dug when I was a kid.

OH man, those comics are AWESOME. I take it you have the Dark Horse hardcover Archive volumes? If not, seek them out. Hilarious.

I voted "none of the above" because I'm not really a superhero/comic book type of guy.

I did really enjoy playing Lego Batman, though ;)
