Forgot to mention that I also played Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas a lot back in the day, both on PC. Didn't come to Fallout 4 yet...
I'm a bit upset that the setting for Forza Horizon 4 will not be Japan as many people were hoping for that before the teasers/trailers came out. But, guess I gonna play it anyway. Love the Horizon series... and UK's nice, too!

I think the Sega Dreamcast system was the only state-of-the-art console I ever bought. I mostly played the excellent Sega sports games but one game that was a real sleeper was TOY COMMANDER.

TOY COMMANDER was essentially a 3D combat simulator, but very cleverly using children's toys. So you were lainching missiles that were pencils, sinking bathtub boats, etc. Tough but not impossible, this was one of the few non-arcade ports that shined on Dreamcast.

I’ve been playing walking simulators and I find them immersive and totally relaxing. Firewatch, What Remains Of Emily Finch, Dear Esther, etc.

Ugh, Firewatch. It had so much potential. Don't get me wrong, most of it was quite enjoyable but the ending was so anti-climatic.

But another pretty good walking simulator was Everybody's Gone To The Rapture.

Talking Horizon, I think it's a pity Turn10 has never thought of giving the nightly NFS-style races their own game. I know the entire game series is basically like NFS (racing public roads, reckless driving, drifting, etc. etc.) but still those 'underground races' felt so much fun, I loved putting all those Fast-and-Furious guys with their fancy japanese tuners to shame using my '70 GTO while blasting some Deep Purple over the Xbox hard drive :D:D

Scrolling through my games library, Criterion's 2010 take on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is also such a great, amazing, timeless game. Keeps you glued to the controller for hours :agree:

Agreed. Rapture is not on Xbox unfortunately.
I didn't think not meeting Delilah face to face was even an option.

This is the best thing you’ll hear all day. The opera from Final Fantasy VI done in the style of Queen. Enjoy.

Planescape: Torment remains one of my all time favorites. I loved the story and the armosatmos and the music.

Also, for a throwback, Sid Meier's Pirates.

Currently playing Witcher 3 when time allows (e g not very often!)

Aaah, Pirates. I'm especially fond of the 2004 remake by Firaxis. That is a fantastic game, even 14 years after its release

    Zelda: Link’s Awakening (GB)
    Toe Jam & Earl (Genesis)

My son added me to his Steam account a while back and got me started on a game called Stardew Valley. Recently he introduced me to another game called My Time At Portia, which is similar to Stardew Valley but has more emphasis on building machinery and crafting goods. Both of these games are very fun and addictive.

My sister gifted me a PlayStation Classic (the mini console by Sony) and I really got hooked on this gem:

    Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo

It's such a fun game! An addictive combination of Tetris and the Street Fighter games with a fantastic soundtrack and some gorgeous visuals. Those 2D-games sure hold up well, especially when compared to the early 3D stuff on the Classic console like Destruction Derby or Resident Evil.

Edit: here's a short gameplay video to give you an impression. I believe the game is available on the PSN and Xbox Live Networks. Plus, a PS Classic or an original copy for the old PlayStation aren't really hard to find, either. A really fun game which I wholeheartedly recommend :righton:
