Lately it's been Midnight Special. Maybe because I've heard the hits so much.

Torn between Pagan Baby and Born to Move.
Pendulum was an indication of a band heading in a more progressive direction. It would've been interesting to hear what the next album would've sounded like if the formula had remained the same wIth Fogerty pulling the strings.

We should have done a poll on this. If I had heard "Born On The Bayou" first, then that would be my favorite. But it was "Ramble Tamble," which changed my worldview at the age of six. And "Ramble Tamble" is harder to play on guitar.

Ramble Tamble is interesting as it didn't make either volume of the Chronicles 'best ofs'. One of my favorite usually overlooked album tracks, nice to see it's not as overlooked as I thought. I grew up with Bayou Country and Green River albums and a couple later singles played a lot, so finding something like Ramble Tamble later that I had missed was a nice surprise.

“Wrote A Song for Everyone” is such a great song - one of my CCR favorites

Okay you all have convinced me that I have to get the song Ramble Tamble. I know I had heard the song decades ago, but I don't remember it at all - and I don't currently have it.

In a way, it reminds me of the format of Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well" -- starts off with a rockin' with a decent tempo to lead you to the gold!

I really enjoy their cover of I Put A Spell On You. Nothing wrong with a really well done cover the artists care about and have real feeling for.

Probably "Who'll Stop the Rain," with at least 10 others in close proximity ("Lodi"; "Lookin' Out My Back Door"; "It Came Out of the Sky"; "Fortunate Son"; "Midnight Special"; "Have You Ever Seen the Rain"; "I Put a Spell on You"; "Bad Moon Rising"; "Long As I Can See the Light"; "Travelin' Band" -- not necessarily in this order, and not necessarily all-inclusive)

If I have to pick just one, I'll say 'Fortunate Son', but I like a lot of other Creedence songs just as much.
