People like Terry Reid and Rodriguez aren't that 'little known' any more. They may not exactly be household names to the general public but Reid's name is certainly well-known to rock fans and Rodriguez has had a film made about him, so they are hardly 'obscure'.

Well i only found out about him last year, Devin Townsend.
Someone who isn't now current is the band Red House Painters.

You're right of course, I was confusing her name with an American TV player. I never heard of Big Jig, I see they made a couple of records and I'll look out for them (although my chances of finding them are slim).

Roy Harper. Around a dozen albums. This is perhaps his best known song.

Yes great band and so is Big Jig (also with Chris Thompson and Sarah Allen ) which I was lucky to see a couple of time , also managed to see Fluke (two flutes, one guitar and Sarah on accordeon) and if you like all these why not start with Chris Thompson's first band, the wonderful Boothill Foot Tappers, who had a minor hit with Get your feet out of my shoes and released only one but great album

Not sure where you're based but on British Amazon you can pick them up for £1.85 & £2.80 respectively (used, I assume).

Don't know what the p&p would be but I reckon you'd get your money's worth at that price.

Francis Dunnery. I saw his old band, It Bites, supporting Go West in 1986 and have been a massive fan ever since. However, I don't really like anything he's released in the last 13 years but I still always turn up to see him when he plays live to drink in some of that fantastic older stuff :)

I'm a big fan of Jude Cole. He had some airplay back in the '80s. Good stuff.

I would add just about every artist ever released by the Numero Group. (For those who don’t know the label, its long-running series of Eccentric Soul and other styles of music, almost all of which are deep indie or limited release/private press stuff.)

Neal Morse. He was the driving force behind Spock's beard for years then went solo focusing mainly on writing Christian lyrics. Morse has has created some brilliant prog music both with and after Spock's Beard.

The video is a bit goofy but give a listen.. loud!
