I'm planning on seeing the Joshua Smith Quintet Featuring Joe Lovano in a very small club next week.

    Playing: early January.

Seeing: Slapp Happy in February. But I assume there'll be another one before then.

I'm off to see Evan Parker at The Vortex with a quartet of Shabaka Hutchings, John Edwards, and Mark Sanders.

This might be my last one for the year - 41 in total.

  8. Brit Floyd at The Lowry in Manchester, February `17. I`ve seen them before and they are superb, great musicians and vocals covering songs from all of Pink Floyd`s career. They are every bit as The Australian Pink Floyd, if not better IMHO.

My next ones are 3 Bruce Springsteen shows @ the Perth Arena. Im in GA standing for all three which will be awesome as a concert experience - Bruce IS amazing - but hellacious on my poor feet! Still I have a week off work, so it should all work out :)

I liked Brit Floyd a good bit more than Aussie Floyd when I saw them. I'll definitely be going again. Besides local cover bands, I'm seeing Billy Joel at MSG next month and again February.

I've seen Aussie Floyd twice now. In both gigs they ignored Syd's stuff. Shame.
  13. When I saw APF what I found off-putting was singers walking on and off, this appeared very strange.

Lyle Lovett & John Hiatt in a small theatre in my small adopted town on Vancouver Island. I'm delighted that these two giants have opted to come here.

Hoping for some Black Country Communion dates this coming year supporting a new album.......

Would LOVE to be seeing The Who at the RAH for the TCT but they're now priced WAY above what I believe to be acceptable; even for non-TCT shows.

Just bought tickets to see ZZ Top in a smallish venue in Glasgow next summer. Should be great. Before then, I think it's Dave Hause.

I'm off to see Bruce Springsteen...FINALLY!!! February 2nd in Melbourne. Have wanted to see him live for years but have always either missed out or been too far away.

I'm also going to see Blondie and Cyndi Lauper in April. I saw Blondie once in 1999 and have seen Cyndi six times now. Can't wait to see them on a double bill!
