Going to see Roger Waters (for the first time) with my wife and mother in law in the spring. Tickets were a gift from the mother in law, who goes to more concerts than anyone I know.
Seeing the Tedeschi Trucks Band in a few weeks at the Chicago Theater.
If you'd asked yesterday, I'd have answered Royal Teeth, who I saw last night. They are a new band from Louisiana with great energy & tightly written, melodic pop/rock songs. Good live show.
saw them 4 or 5 years ago,.....amazing husband and wife team...
Yeah, I've seen them a dozen times. They never fail to entertain. I still can't believe Derek Trucks isn't bigger. The kid can play.
I think I am gonna try to go see Billy Joel at Dodger Stadium.
He sure can.....From a musicianship standard, the kid is top notch....many Kids in their early 2o's and teens for sure, aren't into that type of music very much...it appeals to musically astute individuals, but not the masses under 22 or 23 and down.....of course, some are, but not in huge numbers. Just listen to the kids with their windows down in the summer, its not Rock and Blues......sad but true.
Feb. 23, Emma Ruth Rundle and BadBadNotGood in SF.
