As others have said, it's pretty difficult to narrow down to just ten even when going for one album per performer. Ask me tomorrow and the list might be different but for now:

    Barclay James Harvest XII (1978)

Neal Morse - Sola Scriptura (2007)

Flamborough Head - One For The Crow (2002)

Illusion - Out Of The Mist (1977)

The Enid (originally credited to Godfrey & Stewart) - The Seed & The Sower (1986)

    Marillion - Seasons End (1989)

    Kansas - Leftoverture (1976)

Davis Minasian - Random Acts Of Beauty (2010)

Big Big Train - English Electric Full Power (2013)

    ChimpanA - S/T (2007)

I've left out so many great bands and albums that it's painful but I dearly love the records listed.

I guess I never considered myself a Progressive Rock fan and there are a few posts in the thread where I do not recognize any of the bands or albums but in general there are many albums listed which I have so I guess I at least have my foot in the door of the fraternity.

Back in the late 70's, I paid a dollar for it at the "record factory." My brother and I loved it so much, we went back and bought 4 more copies.
It's like Elton John going progressive rock with wonderful results!

A copy is selling at Amazon for 12 dollars (plus shipping)....so it appears, the word is out on this brilliant and obscure LP.
