I'm interested in seeing what the forums TOP 10 favourite songs (or less if you only know a few) are by The Move + Roy Wood since him and his old band seem to have a fairly dedicated following here. To spice things up, you can also include songs from Roy Wood's solo career and Wizzard.

Anything goes, as long as Roy Wood has a prominent role in the bands music (So nothing by ELO after his departure, but you CAN include the likes of Look At Me Now and 10538 Overture)

I figure the UK hit singles will get a fair chunk of votes but The Move (and Roy) were so eclectic and brilliant in between the late 60s/early 70s that i'm sure there'll be a fair amount of different favourites!
Depending on how well this thread does i'll do a tally at some point to see what the most popular choices are :righton:

    Here's mine:

    - Blackberry Way (Fairly obvious choice, but rightfully so as it gets stuck in my head all the time!)
    - Cherry Blossom Clinic Revisited (So much happening in this song, I imagine Sparks liked this one.)
    - Fire Brigade
    - Forever [Roy Wood Solo]
    - Chinatown
    - Useless Information
    - See My Baby Jive [Wizzard]
    - Flowers In The Rain
    - California Man (The most perfect fusion of the Roy Wood-Jeff Lynne partnership)
    - Tonight

One of the most underrated bands of all time. i agree with most of your picks and would add Wave The Flag And Stop The Train and Do Ya .
My personal favorite is Fire Brigade, 2:20 of infectious hook, middle 8 and Carl Wayne"s ooh ..... pure perfection

Love the Move (and I love Roy's "Boulders" solo album). In no particular order:

    Night Of Fear
    Flowers In The Rain
(Here We Go Round) The Lemon Tree
I Can Hear The Grass Grow
    Hello Suzie
    Cherry Blossom Clinic Revisited
    Brontosaurus
    Tonight
    Do Ya
    California Man

I can do more than ten easy.
Bonus Tracks: Message From The Country, Blackberry Way, Don't Make My Baby Blue, Walk Upon The Water, Don't Mess Me Up, It Wasn't My Idea To Dance
Nancy Sing Me A Song, Grandma Plays The Banjo (these 2 from Boulders)
    Hidden Track: 10538 Overture

What a fantastic list! Can't disagree with any of your choices, but also your 'bonus tracks list is a perfect reminder of just how many great 'deep cuts', B-Sides ect Roy and co were responsible for. :)

Another excellent list, its great to see so much variety in these choices! Look Thru The Eyes is a great one from Mustard. Which is a very worthy successor to Boulders! What I'd do to hear some outtakes from that time period..

Faves are already listed with the exception of Ball Park Incident, that and 10538 Overture would be my top two.

I'm not even gonna try to narrow it down to 10 at this moment.

I just want to say I'm surprised See My Baby Jive and Angel Fingers aren't appearing on more (any) lists. Not to mention This is the Story of My Life. And I Wish it Could Be Xmas (although I'm sure everyone from the UK is bog tired of that one by now).

My choices (limiting myself to Roy Wood compositions):

    1-Fire Brigade
    2-Blackberry Way
    3-Hello Suzie
    4-Beautiful Daughter
5-It Wasn't My Idea to Dance
    6-Tonight
    7-Look at Me Now
    8-Songs of Praise
    9-See My Baby Jive
    10-(And,…for an oddball final selection...)
Keep Your Hands on the Wheel
(Love those crazy John Bonham drums!!!)

Wild Tiger Woman just missed the cut. (Does anyone else think it sounds like a Queen song?)

A timely thread, as I've been on a massive Move/Wizzard/Roy Wood binge over the past three months or so. My list is by no means definitive, but for today, it looks like this:

    Forever
Rock & Roll Winter (Loony's Tune)
The Last Thing on My Mind*
    Cherry Blossom Clinic Revisited
    See My Baby Jive
Look Thru' the Eyes of a Fool
    Come Back Karen
    Meet Me at the Jailhouse
    Song of Praise
    Disturbance
    Night of Fear

    * I've listed eleven, as The Last Thing on My Mind is a cover and by most reports, predominantly a Carl track

Here are a few more relatively obscure tracks that deserve some love and would sit in my top twenty-five:

    Beautiful Daughter
Rock Medley (Rockin’ Shoes/She's Too Good for Me/Locomotive)
Buffalo Station/Get On Down to Memphis
    Wear a Fast Gun
    You Sure Got It Now
    Main Street
    Sneakin'
    Way Beyond the Rain

Still can't believe 'Omnibus' was just the B side of Wild Tiger Woman!

Wow! Toughest 'Hoffman' question ever. I guess I favour these the most, but there's so many golden Move/Roy Wood songs to choose from. Hard.

    Angel Fingers
When Alice Comes Back To The Farm
I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day
    Walk Upon The Water
    Ella James
    Beautiful Daughter
    Tonight
    Ball Park Incident
    Rock And Roll Winter
    Wild Tiger Woman
