    His films have become more about his style than anything else. He needs to reinvint himself. I don't think he's particularly bad, but my reaction to him is more ho-hum than for or against.

    I love it when someone names the worst 3 films out of a directors 20+ film roster and talks about how horrible the director is.

    paul verhoven ? has he been mentioned yet

    Spielberg is the most over-rated sentimental director there is but there is no denying his technical prowess and Shindlers List & Munich save him easily. Michael Winner probably never made a decent movie after Hanibal Brooks but they aren't too bad before that, equally Ken gardening club Russell probably never made a decent movie after Mahler but before that there are some good-uns even if like Mahler some are flawed....Pasolini, none too clever imho.....this is a toughie......

    oh and Ed Wood, he's so bad he's good now lol......Jimmy Sangster at Hammer, but he may have been so bad he may have only done one movie......

    Bergman ,a great director but writes plays , way too many words and too few set ups for my taste

    Three, actually (Fear in the Night, The Horror of Frankenstein, Lust for a Vampire). :)
