Hitchcock's FRENZY and a little documentary called FINISTERRE, from the early 2000's. Many others of course, but these are ones in my collection.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but

'The 'Prime of 'Miss Jean Brodie' is set in Edinburgh.

'Brief Encounter' is set at the train station in the town of Milford.

'Loneliness of The Long Distance Runner' is set in Nottingham and at a juvenile detention facility in rural England.

Most of 'The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp' and 'Foreign Correspondent' are set outside of England.

You're not wrong, but Milford is entirely fictional. The station cafeteria scenes were actually shot in Carnforth which is about 250 miles from London.

Filming Locations for Brief Encounter (1945) ยป

Mike Leigh's "Life is Sweet" (set in Enfield) is a notable omission, I think. How about also "Dr Who: Daleks Invasion Earth 2150AD" although it dares to venture out into the sticks for its climactic showdown in a toolshed in a quarry in the wilds of deepest darkest Bedfordshire.
