I like Led Zeppelin a lot but I don't like that one. As I said, the slow blues numbers I find to be utterly boring.

Somebody picked "Out on the Tiles" ? Seriously ? Wow. See, it takes all kinds.

I'm always surprised about the disdain for "Four Sticks". It's always been one of my favorite LZ tracks whereas many others don't really rock my boat*.

    P. S. : I'm on my mobile phone and don't want to put up the effort to create a list as per the thread title... but I'll add one later...

*I really like LZ (!) but also think they couldn't hold even a small candle to their early contemporaries, Free, a better band in many respects. Don't want to start a fight, I really don't, but because I compare the two bands all the time, the list of LZ songs I think are mediocre is quite a bit longer in comparison.

For me there is not a bad song on those first four albums.

DEFINITELY. I used to hate In the Light or Four Sticks, both firmly in my top 5 today.

Also, heresy, but I can't stand the studio Whole Lotta Love and No Quarter. The live versions are fantastic, but can't get into the album versions

Not a big fan of this song (especially the vocals!), but it features one of my favorite Page guitar solos (and I do love the timbale overdubs & drum fills there, too).

I've been a huge Zep fan for a long time, but the only tracks I've never really been able to come to grips with are:
D'yer Mak'er (I deal with it by trying to focus on the drumming Bonzo has going in it)
Hot Dog (I try to appreciate the boogie woogie groove the band has going)
Thank You (studio version - I dig the live versions) (My wife and I ended up choosing this for our wedding dance song)

There are no bad Zep songs, only varying degrees of awesomeness.

Used to dislike Hats Off to Roy Harper, but have grown to appreciate its weirdness.

Of course if you include live material, then any Jimmy Page solo after about 1971 is not good.

No Quarter from the Song Remains the Same's original cut proves that theory wrong...

    9. The Rain Song (I like the "live" version so much more)
    10. The Crunge

Apparently, I don't like the album, "Houses of the Holy"

Seriously. That's quintessential Led Zeppelin as far as I'm concerned. Or at least is a prime example of what Zeppelin was in those early days.

Can't believe people have picked "Down by the Seaside." That song's better than any song from the first 4 albums.

I'm happy to have all of it ... don't "hate" any of it ... but if you held a gun to my head and forced me to pick one song to disappear from the catalog forever it would "Carouselambra".

And not that concert set lists from 35+ years ago can be changed, but if there's one song I've been "overexposed" to by listening to a great amount of live Zep, it's "Since I've Been Loving You", which seemed to be in the set nearly every night from '70 to '80.

I have to agree with those who have said they prefer the live TSRTS versions of songs like Whole Lotta Love, No Quater and Dazed and Confused. My introduction to Zep when I was a youngster was LZIV, then TSRTS. When I eventually heard the studio versions I didn't and still don't think the songs sound right. I put it down to the vocal melodies and phrasing being quite different and in my opinion, much better on TSRTS. When I listen to the studio versions of those songs it sounds like Plant still hadn't decided how he was going to sing the lyrics and was just more or less improvising.

I'd rather listen to Hot Dog five times in a row than D'yer Maker once.

The only ZepTune I actually dislike.

    In order of appearance:

Moby Dick - actually the studio version is ok but when a live version comes on, I go to the bathroom and then to the fridge for another beer.
Out on the Tiles - I like the riff but the song is about 2 minutes too long
The Crunge (should be The Cringe)
Royal Orleans - see The Crunge
Fool in The Rain - see Out On the Tiles
Hot Dog - they left Ozone Baby and Wearing and Tearing off the album for this?
