    Anybody see this -

yourmusic is "advertising" on eBay by listing some of their CD's with a $5.99 BIN price - but you have to join..
I would think buying something with strings attached (i.e. membership) Is this against eBay policy??

I'm more surprised that yourmusic.com's label licenses allow for this sort of offer.

I think other companies should follow along:

Mosaic should post some box sets on ebay.

Rhino Handmade and all the other mail-order only labels that most of the ebay people don't know about.

Audio Fidelity should do it, too.

Universal sold CDs directly on eBay awhile back. Most of what they sold were standard discs, but they also sold limited-edition discs with booklets that were autographed by the artist.

It is againts EBAY policy..They 13,000 auctions up and only 1 feedback..It is going to hurt the person who wants to sell a cd or 2 from there collection

PLUS YOU CAN NOT PUT IN YOURMUSIC.COM,TO DIRECT TO ANOTHER WEBSITE

I'm sure BMG/Sony has a detailed specialized contract with eBay that allows this.

I was just trying to find out if the rules for 'stores' were different to those for auctions, but it seems not.

If you look at the auctions now, I think you'll find they're now in line with the other major stores sellers. No links in the auctions, and they've changed their eBay name.

On eBay everyone has the same listing rules.I bet they are taken down in a few weeks.

You can not have .com in any of your auctions,They have it in 4 places

Pathetic. Like as if Bill Gates got arrested for panhandling. Sure, Google's eating his lunch now but even so...

Interesting. I wouldn't wager it was someone in the actual company doing that. Their listings looked totally cut/paste from YM.com. If it was a really dumb corp. mistake, I would've expected to see personalized text entered into their Ebay profile, etc.

I saw something about an 'affiliate program' on YM's website. I'll wager someone was trying to use Ebay for something related to that. That would be more believable.

They listed over 10,000+ items, I highly doubt it's someone else other than ym.com itself doing it. Not everyone can throw out thousands of dollars to post so many items on ebay.
