Saw Zombieland last night and its worth your time at the movies. It is a fun hour and a half of action with a great cast.

The real reason to see it though is the best cameo by a major movie star in years. Just awesome.

We have another Zombie winner after a pretty good streak of darn good Zombie movies.

Gotta love zombies! Seems like the genre faded away for a long time. It's certainly come back to life.

Zombieland is more about the 4 main characters than the zombies which is one reason it works.

Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg are great together. I'm usually not a big fan of Harrelson but he's perfect in this movie.

I loved the "rules" of Zombieland. The most important? CARDIO! :D

I was a little disappointed that the theater we saw it in wasn't sold out. And this was in Times Square at the 8PM showing.

The crowd enjoyed the film but an even bigger crowd would have been better.

Where were all the zombie fans?

I heard he plays himself and not just a character in the film. Looking forward to checking it out.

Be sure to stay until the very end of the credits... there is bonus footage.

At first I thought this was stupid looking, but after all the good reviews I've read on Rotten Tomatoes and the good ones here, I'm going to go see it.
I like Woody Harrelson. Thanks for the thread.

I enjoyed this comedy very much. I love Zombie flicks so this is funny. A few scenes were hilarious. Good cast and a great cameo built in. The very ending after the credits was even dumber. I was the only guy left in the theater. Thanks for the tip. Woody should get an award... Great fun movie :righton:

I'm glad someone else thinks so! I was at another forum where someone posted that there was nothing to this movie except fun ways to kill zombies - and he liked it. I kept thinking... "what did you do during the parts of the movie that didn't have zombies?"

I saw it last night and loved it..

IMHO Woody stole the movie and a great cameo by a major star....

Lot more comedy than I thought would be in there.

Wasn't that the girl from Superbad??

  17. I saw this film on Saturday and absolutely loved it! Best new movie I've seen in ages. The funny thing is, I saw the trailers a month or so ago and thought, eh, it looks so-so but maybe I'll go see it just because I like Zombie flicks. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be well-acted, well-written and thoroughly entertaining :righton:

I love Zombie movies! Can't wait to see this one.

What are the other movies in this "pretty good streak of darn good zombie movies" you speak of? I must have missed them, as I havne't noticed a good zombie movie as of late.

Not all that recent, but I thought Dawn of the Dead (remake), 28 Days Later (not the sequel) and especially Shaun of the Dead were very good.
