    I own a 30th anniversary and a 40th anniversary version, I think I'll pass on this.

varese sarabande not exactly known for tons of extras.

i love the zombies and o&o but doesn't this seem a little like how you always get a nice gift for your parents when they have their milestone anniversaries. almost feels like we are doing that for rod & colin. i think it may just be a nice card for this one.

  4. I don't expect a lot of stuff that wasn't already on the box set. This looks like a release to promote this year's tour which will feature the entire album played by all surviving members.

The last Varese Sarabande release of O&O was not great quality. Do what I did--buy an autographed copy at an O&O show, frame the cover, and discard the record.

If they autograph the CD for this tour, I'll buy one.

They always do, but it'll look kinda small hanging on the wall. ;)

The key to getting autographed copies is to buy them before the show. If you wait until after, they may well be sold out.

As an owner of the Zombie Heaven box and an expanded version of O&O, I really can't see there being too much left. Of course that didn't stop me from buying R.I.P. when it came out!

Unless they stumbled upon the actual, original mono master tapes for this one, I'm not sure what the point is to this...

Of course I'll buy before the show. Last year's tour, they (all 4) only autographed the O&O vinyl. I'm hoping they will the CD this time.

(The only autographed CD last tour was Still Got The Hunger with Colin and Rod's signatures)

Here's something: "Odessey and Oracle is being reissued for the first time on CD in digipak on March 17. Bonus tracks on the CD include alternate versions and outtakes from the original recording sessions. The booklet contains never-seen photos as well as new notes from Andrew Sandoval."

(It's never been on digipak before?)

Here it is. Not sure what's new here - some of the bonus tracks might be things we know re-named. Not sure about #17.

Presumably tracks #1-12 are the standard stereo LP (with "This Will Be Our Year" a mono mix, as on the original LP):

    1. Care Of Cell 44
    2. A Rose For Emily
    3. Maybe After He's Gone
    4. Beechwood Park
    5. Brief Candles
    6. Hung Up On A Dream
    7. Changes
    8. I Want Her She Wants Me
    9. This Will Be Our Year
    10. Butcher's Tale (Western Front 1914)
    11. Friends of Mine
    12. Time Of The Season
    13. I'll Call You Mine (Mono Mix)
    14. Care Of Cell 44 (Takes 1 & 2 Backing Track)
    15. Care Of Cell 44 (Alternate Mix)
    16. A Rose For Emily (With Cello)
    17. I Want Her She Wants Me (Mono - With Backing Vocals)
    18. This Will Be Our Year (Stereo - Without Overdubs)
    19. Time Of The Season (Remix)

Seems strange that Andrew Sandoval has written the liner notes, but no mention he's been involved in the remastering.

The new O&O tour started tonight. I drove down to Philadelphia (Keswick Theater Glenside) for the 1st show.

They were great again. Same as 2015 - 1st set current band, some setlist song changes (I won't spoil which ones - it's already on setlist.fm if you're interested ). 2nd set was O&O again with Chris and Hugh, current band, Darian and Vivienne.

They are selling the new CD autographed by Colin, Rod, Chris, and Hugh. Vinyl too. Lots of new shirts, but I only got the CD.

(Typing from my phone, so only doing 1st names to save time)

    O&O deserves a boxset, not a simple 1-CD.

That's come out before. It's nice (a cello added to the mix of the standard recording), but not life-changing.

They're selling autographed copies of the new book Odessey this time.
I'm in. Don't really need another copy of the album.

I've never had a copy of this on CD.

So many to choose from - what is the forum favourite?

Won't buy unless it contains live in the Philippines material or isolated drum tracks.
