Really love those first two albums, and the epic tune on the final release years later. Lots of good stuff in between too

Hey all,

Are there any artists out there that haven't done a Christmas album, but you would want one from?

I was just thinking of this today as I was playing Cheap Trick's new Christmas CD. Great CD. Who would have dreamed, way back in the golden age of Classic Rock, that so many of these artists would do a Christmas CD one day? Cheap Trick, Jethro Tull, the Moodies, Skynyrd, Ritchie Blackmore, Glenn Hughes, Chris Squire, Keith Emerson, Jon Anderson, the list goes on.

Anyway, I would want...

I'm not going into the whole pre-Geils history of the band as you can do your own research for that...

I will begin by saying that by mid 1970 guitarist J. (Jerome) Geils had put together one of the 1970s best loved longest lasting band of R&B misfits this side of Englands Rolling Stones...

Hold on.I did not say the Geilers were as good or better than the Stones in the early 70s (that would...

Hi,

I'm sorry if this happens to be redundant but there are so many Beatles threads and I couldn't find one dealing with this.

I was born way after the Beatles split up so I have, as many people, a historical perspective on them that is very different from people who were there enjoying them (I realize that even this varies from country to country and that a french perspective would be very lukewarm and different compared to, say, a US or British perspective).

Anyway, I've always found...
