  1. I hear that, but in the heat of the moment - and if the price isn't ridiculous - it can be hard to say no. I have a couple-some records I picked up and later thought, "what the hell did I buy that for?" :)

Anyway, what was shaping up to be an RSD I might take a flyer on is now looking to get expensive - the Dino Jr and Soundgarden boxes, the Joy Division, Die Kreutzen, and Fix reissues, maybe the Pistols set, and who knows what else might be coming...

Green Day also releasing something that may be titled "Demolicious" with 18 demos from the Uno, Dos, Tres trilogy and one unreleased track on colored vinyl, CD and cassette on RSD

    From @GreenDay
"We are releasing 18 demos from Uno, Dos, + Tres for @recordstoreday. Colored #vinyl, #CD and #cassette. Stay tuned!"

No actual info, but I'd guess its a vinyl release of the contents of the 3rd CD of the Rhino GP box.

I could think of 20-30 Doors vinyl releases that would better serve the fan base for RSD. It's an interestingly curated comp, but the RSD version will be more than the price of clean copy originals on popsike. Why would real Doors fans buy a comp when they have the albums? Why would casual fans buy a hits comp they have to flip 4 times and doesn't contain the 3 big hits?

There should be a Doors comp on vinyl with the big hits available to fans 365 days a year and in the big box vinyl retailers.

    Sam! Finally!!

I sure hope it's cut by one of the masters. That LP has the potential to sound amazing.

Devo also announced that they will be releasing the complete 1977 Max's Kansas City concert for Record Store Day. While part of this show was released on Devo Live, it will be neat to hear the complete show.

I'm pretty sure it'll be the already released albums. It's most likely it'll be Time Fades Away, On the Beach, Tonight's the Night and Zuma but there is a very small possibility it could be Journey Through the Past, Time Fades Away and On the Beach. Oooh, the suspense is killing me!

Lately Richard Thompson is playing a new song in concert "Fork in the Road"
He announces it as a song from his forthcoming EP with his Electric Trio
What is better than to release this on RSD?
