Count me in for the CD+Blu-ray set, especially after the nice surprise of the Division Bell 5.1 mix.

I wonder if the Bluray/DVD will contain just the album in higher resolution or in 5.1, or whether it will contain extra (video or audio) material...

It could be a mono dub of cassette playback in Dave's houseboat bathroom downsampled to 92kps mp3 for all we know.

Andy Jackson, the album's engineer, confirmed the 5.1 mix a while back on QQ forum.

Remind me please, are European or US LP pressings generally better these days? Deciding whether or not to go for Amazon US or Amazon DE or elsewhere...

Are there any sound clips up yet for this release to preview the songs? Also, is it going to be a department store special release as well ala Best Buy or some other retailer?

I hope these special editions aren't too limited in where you can get them. Best Buy, sure. Just don't let these be as scarce as the DB vinyl and box. You couldn't even get the 5.1 DVD of it anywhere except through the official site.

Also, ^ that amazon link, among others who reported on the album awhile back are claiming that this is a Columbia release....is it? I thought it was Warner (WMG)?

Yeah, I'm patiently awaiting a sound preview of sorts, along with details like tracklisting and the artwork (will it be Storm Thorgerson scrapped art, or another designer?) that I could potentially stare at for hours, like the rest of them.

Pink Floyd Management just wrote that these links are bogus and might be someone (Al Cohol?) trying to cash on on the title/release date. And this is the image posted.

We'll now for sure soon enough...

Well it looks like the links have been removed. Nice work, Mr. Loasby. Still not sure if this was legit or not. Amazon may have simply jumped the gun before being given clearance. Time will tell...

Count me in for the CD+Bluray version! And if they are offering BD-A, we should see a 5.1 mix.

Wait...this isn't the final artwork, is it? Eeegh, I hope not.
