    CSNY 1974 [BD] {192kHz} {24bit}
    Storytone [PONO] {192kHz} {24bit}

    And announced today on the Pono Community forum, ORS 1 - 14 (that's right, ORS 1 - 14, it's not a typo) are due to be released on Dec 23, 2014 available as digital downloads through the Pono Store - all at resolutions of either 24/176.4 or 24/192. Individual titles unconfirmed, but for consistency with the numbering of ORS LP format releases, I'm assuming that means that Time Fades Away is included, and probably Long May You Run (Stills-Young Band) is out. So...

    Neil Young [PONO] {192/176.4kHz} {24bit}
    Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere [PONO] {192kHz} {24bit}
    After The Gold Rush [PONO] {192/176.4kHz} {24bit}
    Harvest [PONO] {192kHz} {24bit}
    Time Fades Away [PONO] {192/176.4kHz} {24bit}
    On The Beach [PONO] {176.4kHz} {24bit}
    Tonight's The Night [PONO] {192/176.4kHz} {24bit}
    Zuma [PONO] {192/176.4kHz} {24bit}
    American Stars 'N Bars [PONO] {176.4kHz} {24bit}
    Comes A Time [PONO] {192/176.4kHz} {24bit}
    Rust Never Sleeps [PONO] {192/176.4kHz} {24bit}
    Live Rust [PONO] {192/176.4kHz} {24bit}
    Hawks & Doves [PONO] {176.4kHz} {24bit}
    re-ac-tor [PONO] {176.4kHz} {24bit}

    The resolutions are my guesses based on previous physical releases, unconfirmed. Great news as quite a few of these albums have not been digitally remastered since the original Warner CD editions issued in the 80's.

    Thanks in advance

    SOK I found it amid te Uncle Neil stuff.

  8. Is there a thread on resolutions that were not up-rezzed to the physical container format? From memory, a couple of tunes on Greatest Hits, and Le Noise were digitized at < than their physical format.

    He should reissue American Stars and Bars through Live Rust on vinyl NOW! Enough with the new albums for awhile.

    This attitude always baffles me. Those albums exist out there on vinyl already don't they? I'd rather hear NEW music from him while he's still alive rather than having him focus on reissues. The reissues will come after he's gone. No new music will.

    If I'm correct that forum isn't online yet for the masses. Only for the people who already bought a Pono.

    Just thought you'd like to know that Uncut magazine have just used your post in their news story about the new releases. I do hope you are right as this is really exciting news if it comes to fruition!

    Nah. Fair enough. You make plenty of sense. I'm coming from a place where I'm likely younger than you and like many of the new albums. In retrospect, I shouldn't have called you out. We're all coming from a different place. My apologies.

    The Comes A Time artwork labels it as ORS #10 so we're getting closer to nailing down the final composition of the series. Pretty much confirms that Live Rust will be ORS #12 and not part of the Performance Series. For me this is looking perfect, just what I'd been hoping would come out.

    Could find Live Rust, but have found many others: TFA, TNT, Zuma and RNS at 192/24, and On The Beach, AS&B and H&D at 88.2/24. Not sure why the latter ones aren't at 176/24, as they were in DVD-A, but hopefully the free upgrade for Pono Kickstarter supporters will kick in eventually here.

    So does this mean that Time Fades Away is the first mainstream rock album originally on vinyl for which the first digital commercial release was 192/24 (or even 96/24 plus)?

    I really hope the store launches in the UK soon. I need to buy these ASAP. There's only "Neil Young" and "Hawks & Doves" I don't consider essential purchases.

    The self titled album is awesome, you're really missing out.

    I would argue that is one of the coolest psych albums ever!

    I've Been waiting for you.... and you've been coming for me....for such a long time now

    Such great fuzz guitar sounds on this one. It is kind of a shame he abandoned this approach entirely
