Yes, just arrived. Tanx / Zinc was delivered by Royal Mail and The Slider by Hermes - it's a big heavy box!

 

Well done. I wondered how it would arrive. I'd imagine it would come via a courier. Maybe later?

 

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Hermes use local drivers and they tend to turn up at all hours!

The box was well packaged and mine was undamaged (apart from a slight manufacturing tear under the shrinkwrap), so I wouldn't worry...

 

Received this afternoon, thanks man. If there were really only 2000 produced then Marcs stock has really sunk. I would have thought after two years these boxes would be long gone, even with Amazon's gouging.

 

My box arrived today. Unbelieveable price for a very nice set. Was there a reprint/reissue of this? I thought it was meant to be numbered, limited to 2,000 but I can't seem to find any indication of a number on mine. Still, good to have anyway.

 

It looks like mine was the only one that didn't arrive today!

 

I have never owned a T Rex album, but at this price I had to give it a go for such a quality box...I was always a Bowie guy, but this will be good, won't it???

 

It's my favourite Bolan album, though many prefer Electric Warrior. If you check back to the first 2 or 3 pages of this thread, there's an unboxing video of this. It looks beautiful! Hopefully one day I'll get to see it in the flesh!

Well, out of his T Rex stuff, The Slider and Electric Warrior are excellent. Tanx is pretty good. After that it all went tits up sadly. Tread carefully!

 

Yikes! I started at the top! Thank you, I'll pick up Electric Warrior too....and see how they settle. This is why I'm on this forum, to get a steer in the right direction in music I know little about. Appreciated!

 

My advice is check out his music on YouTube before you buy. All his stuff is on there.
