The author of this painting was a surprise, because I always tought it was made by Turner.

McCarthy's I Am A Wallet made use of a cool painting by George Grosz.

 

The painting is by Australian artist Ken Donne and the record cover is Australia the Luck C*** by TISM. The artist got so offended with what they did to his koala he sued and they replaced the cover with a pic of Sinead O'Conner ripping up something on TV.

Another from Fleetwood Mac, this time Tango In The Night - The painting is "Homage a Henri Rosseau": The distinctive cover art for the album was a painting by Australian artist Brett-Livingstone Strong which was hanging in Buckingham's home. It is a homage to the 19th Century French painter Henri Rousseau, emulating his colorful jungle theme works such as The Snake Charmer and The Repast of the Lion. (info from wikipedia)
