  2. When I first read this, I thought they'd recorded it in German ("Mary hatte ein kleines Lamm") and was excited about a previously-unknown recording. Then I remembered you guys were talking about slightly different mixes.

They could have worn liederhosen in the video.

Ray Charles recorded for Atlantic. You must be thinking of Smokey Robinson!! He recorded for Tamla and was known to wear dark shades:

    WONDERful Christmastime???

Mmm - in case Wonderfulchristmastime is a singer in dark glasses who recorded for Tamla Motown.
If that is not the case I would suggest to look elsewhere. Those who don t know this must have lived in a Ivory Tower the last 35 years

I feel like there's a clue in here somewhere. Ooh, "like a castle needs a tower"! But "Waterfalls" wasn't on Tug of War.

Rupert Bear never wore dark glasses, so that rules We All Stand Together out.

Smokey Robinson, however, covered So Bad on the recent tribute album....

Well, the February 1983 issue of "Beatles Monthly Book" had this strange story, reported by Mark Lewisohn at the time:

"According to recent (unconfirmed) rumours, Paul is currently back at the AIR studios in Montserrat producing a solo album for Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac. It is likely that he has given her several original compositions for the project. Whilst on the island, Paul will be putting the finishing touches to "Old Friend", his other, unreleased, duet with Carl Perkins."

Do we have more information about that supposed return to Montserrat?

That is very strange; it would be unlike Lewisohn to get something completely wrong, so I imagine that there was some truth to the rumour.

Interestingly, George worked on Here Comes The Moon in Hawaii with Stevie Nicks and he also played guitar on Mick Fleetwood's album 'The Visitor', so there is some connection between the bands. George was apparently a good friend of Mick's, and they were of course both married to a Boyd sister.

I remember an interview that Stevie gave in 2013 or 2014, where she spoke about meeting George and Ringo, whilst initially forgetting that Paul was a Beatle. When she did remember him, she said that she had never met him.

Someone should ask Christine if there is any truth to the story.

Dark perscription glasses or dark sunglasses? Two entirely different things and could possibly point to different people.

Whilst we're all clearly bored waiting for an announcement, I have a question to fill the time...

I was looking on Google Maps yesterday at Paul's house near Rye (I'm not a psycho mentalist, I was just bored...) and noticed that next to his house is "Waterfall Woods". Has anyone ever heard him say if he got inspiration for the song Waterfalls from these woods next to his house?
